Let me tell you the jewelry that Marilyn makes is very special. Last year
when 15 year old Keeta akita died she made and sent me fifteen (and a few
spares) tiny turquoise/purple glass bead bracelets to remember Keeta by. To
me this was so touching! Marilyn should be our official alt.fashion jewelry
maker! rjudith
Thanks so much for the wonderful compliment rjudith. Im just beginning to
list my jewelry on ebay today. My ebay handle is : marilyn55

Is there anyone that makes their own jewelry? We have a girl I work
with that
makes necklaces, bracelets - I was thinking about trying this out
myself but
was wondering what equipment you need to hook the end clasps on. Can
anyone
give me any help? Thanks
You havent stated what type of jewellery making and believe me when I
say that
there are few different types. However, from what Ive read you seem to
be
referring to beading. If metal, leather or glass, porcelain or stone
work I
cannot help you there as the equipment is extremely different, quite
expensive and
very specific.
I have been heavily into beading in the past but it got so absurdly
expensive that
I made myslef give it up ...I used to return home with a handful of beads
and
spent hundreds of dollars (only a fellow beader would understand this).
Its an
amazing hobby/passion that pushes analytical skills and requires an
enormous
amount of patience, planning . |
