A number of my delicate/filigree silver earrings have gotten very
tarnished. Ive been using a standard grocery-store silver polish, but
its intended more for flatware and dishes and doesnt work well on
these small, intricate things. Can anyone recommend a really good
polish for use on jewelry? (And I would gladly accept the recipe for
the baking soda-and-whatever mixture that one boils in an aluminum pan
for polishing silver--I can never remember how to do that.)
I stress that I am looking for silver *polish*--not for jewelry cleaner.
Ive got a jewelry cleaner, but it doesnt really do anything about the tarnish. |
